You may see higher prices, but I'm telling you that you get nothing more by paying more. You'll get the lowest price and the best service from godaddy.com.

People are buying up names fast and you might have to use a little imagination. Names ending with other than .com are easier to get. The .org and .net names are a little easier to get. For a few dollars more you can get a .info, .biz, .us, or .ws name. All these are now open to everybody. I recently got terragraphics.us after being unable to get the terragraphics.com name.

Your own e-mail addresses that you can keep forever. You won't depend on you ISP for e-mail any more. This will be the last time you ever send out change of e-mail address notices.

What you have to buy to get this is hosting. You can get that from godaddy.com too for as little as $5.95 per month. It's a very basic package. Take a look at it and see if you're sure it is all you want. If you are looking for more, spend $9.95 and go to he.net for hosting. You'll get several times as much of just about everything and a pile of features that none of the godaddy packages have.
