It's cheap - $8.95 per year. For that price you get your own name. For
example, I own the name, "requa.net". You may see higher prices, but I'm
telling you that you get nothing more by paying more. You'll get the
lowest price and the best service from
godaddy.com.
People are buying up names fast and you might have to use a little imagination. Names ending with other than .com are easier to get. The .org and .net names are a little easier to get. For a few dollars more you can get a .info, .biz, .us, or .ws name. All these are now open to everybody. I recently got terragraphics.us after being unable to get the terragraphics.com name.
