Designing Web Usability I hate getting tangled up in confusing websites. First I think my memory is poor and after fussing around long enough, I realize the site is just badly designed. This site is intentionally simple and consistent. There are just a few things you should know:

The requa.net/jimmy/ home page that you just left provides an index to the site. Picking any item in its table takes you to a page like this one - a page about the topic you picked. At the bottom of each page, the topics of the column you picked from are displayed (as you can see below). This allows you to go directly to any other topic in the column. At the very bottom is a "Home" sign to take you back to the index.

Other internal links go to pages that simply have "Back" buttons at the bottom. There are no cross links or circular paths.

Any link that takes you to a different website, opens it in a new window. Simply close it when you are done. The ads are an exception to this.

Any green text you see is a link. For an example, pick here now. There are also e-mail links. You'll find a sample below.

Many of the pictures are links too. For an example, pick the picture on this page to see information about a book I haven't read yet. I'll tell you if it turns out to be good or remove its picture if not.

The only exceptions to all this are the "Question and Answer" pages which you'll find self explanatory and the "Search this website." page which lets you jump to pages in other sections.

If you catch me breaking any of these rules, please tell me. I'll either fix it or change the rules. Thanks for reading this. Enjoy the site.
