Time passed and George and Ray worked on the house. By October it looked like this.

   
The inside wasn't doing too well. When they took the first section of roof off, the inside wall was so flimsy they had to replace it. It was made with 2x2 studs and the outside walls were made with 2x3 studs. George had warned us.
 

There was an old addition in the back. It had no foundation so we put one under it. Foundations have to be really deep in Maine.

 

The view from upstairs is going to be really nice. Take a look.
