Now it's the end of November. These poor guys are building our house in freezing weather. We keep expecting them to get a roof on so they can work inside but it's just one bad news thing after another. A week ago they found the beams were rotten in that spot where the front of the house didn't reach out to the foundation. Well, it just had a floor which was the deck and nothing over it. It had been raining and snowing on it for thirty years. What did we expect?

So, the floor came up and a couple new beams went in and look at the beautiful bay window all framed in. We are so glad we found George and Ray. Whatever we run into, whatever we find needs doing, they are ready. They just do it.

Now they found the walls of the addition at the back were made of short scraps of 2x4 spliced together. After putting a foundation under the addition, they have to put an addition over the foundation.

The last of the interior walls has fallen. It's a big open space now.

We really like this part.
