A few years back I thought all the good, really simple inventions
had been invented - things like the paper clip. Then somebody came
along with Velcro - a simple thing like nothing we already had.

A Good Deal
I see on TV that Brinks will install an alarm in my house for $99.
Then they'll throw in a free second keypad, a $155 value.
Wait a minute - the whole thing costs me $99 including two $155
keypads? How stupid are we?
Opposites
Seems like the opposites of things should have the opposite names.
For example, when the moon is invisible it's a new moon, so
when it is completely visible, it should be called an old moon.
