Practice random kindness and senseless acts of beauty. -- Anne Herbert

I get gas for a third of what I used to pay because I use a third as much. This is my Honda Civic hybrid. It cost about the same as a normal car and, it's a normal, practical car in every way. No, I don't have to plug it in at night. It's a luxurious four door sedan that I can drive 500 miles without stopping and then another 500 after filling its little gas tank. Save gas. Saving money is part of why I bought it, but I notice that I feel good about doing something good for all of us: using less of our precious oil, producing less pollution, and reducing the pace of global warming. Wherever I go, I feel good that other folks see one more hybrid on the road and maybe get the idea to buy hybrids.
